Hey there! It’s been a while. A long while. I know what you are thinking… you have so many pretty images… Kayla, why aren’t there blog posts for them all? I’m gonna be real with you.
I smile this big because I love what I do. I learned so quick after going full time with photography almost 3 years ago (time flies!) that it was a lot more work that I thought. When I was a part time photographer and still working full time I still worked hard, but I could pick and choose what I wanted to do work wise with photography. I didn’t realize how much went into the back end when you had to make more $ since your income depends on it. So I worked. and worked. and worked some more. #entrepreneurlife
And it worked. And I started getting busier. But busier is hard. Busier takes more time. My once never ending to do list kept getting longer. and longer. Ever been there?
I was overwhelmed but excited and had to figure out new processes, new ways to be more efficient in my workflow. But doing new things take time. Taking on more clients take time. I knew I would never want to take time away from giving my clients an amazing experience, so blogging got pushed to the back burner. But I have good news!
I invested so much time into creating workflows. (using a CRM has giving me so much time back!) and I am excited to say, I am finally going to blog again. I’m going to do it a little differently this time too. So, what will you see on our new blog? The photos of course, but so much more! We will be sharing before & after edits, some personal posts (excited to blog about our recent cruise to Mexico!), and I will be writing articles with tips to help you with all things photography. So, be prepared to see some beautiful things on here. I can’t wait to share them with you!
